POSITION
Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst should carry out daily activities to maintain effective inventory management and optimal inventory levels, procedures and accurate databases.
They also should ensure on time and in full delivery of product to customers and should be able to execute with accuracy.
Essential Functions:
Monitor and control inventory levels in outside warehouses.
Lead change initiatives that impact Supply Chain connecting warehousing and logistics operations.
Investigate and implement solutions to improve inventory control visibility and accuracy.
Create and maintain inventory dashboards, reports and analysis.
Run daily inventory reports for assigned warehouses.
Effectively manage Sales demands by coordinating with Demand team and plant operations for scheduling production of multiple food manufacturing facilities that have a limited shelf life.
Work with plants on inventory levels, production needs and weeks on hand inventory levels.
Entering or adjusting intercompany stock transfers based on needs for shipping to and from different warehouses to ensure fulfillment of sale orders.
Compiling data for forecasting templates, supply chain analysis and production schedules.
Assist in production scheduling as needed.
Backup other inventory control personnel.
Report inventory issues and shortages.
Answer inventory requests and run needed reports for Sales.
Any other duties assigned by management.
